Bibliotherapy is a method of therapy in which you gain insights and understanding by reading the articles on people who have similar background as yours.

This Q&A style service is an unique service of SAC. This is how it works. You send a question up to 700 words and make a payment online, our counselor will send you an advice within 48 hours (except on weekends and American national holidays).

Our advice contains concrete ways to solve client’s problems like you can see in bibliotherapy samples. However, we can’t give you advice on law and recommendation of school.

We provide phone counseling in both Japanese and English. It is suitable for people who are unable to come to our Seattle office.

You write some background of the situation you want to discuss, give us your preferable appointment times, send the info to us, and make payment. We will contact you about appointment and prepare for the session based on your written question.
That way, our counselor doesn’t waste your time in gathering basic information from you when we talk on the phone.

Individual Counseling:
(Intake $120 for 75 minutes, subsequent session $95 for 60 minutes)

Couple or Family Counseling:
(Intake $120 for 75 minutes, subsequent individual session $95 for 60 minutes, subsequent couple or family session $110 for 60 minutes)

We also provide traditional face to face counseling. Sessions are provided in our Seattle office and both in Japanese and English languages.
